The Death March Revival is a minimally supported, 88 mile, Ultra Endurance Gravel
Grinder that boasts over 12,000 feet of climbing.

                                                                     EVENT RULES

1. The EVENT SPONSORS, ORGANIZERS, PROMOTORS, STAFF and anyone having anything to do with this event ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SAFETY OR WELL BEING. We cannot stress this strongly enough....YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU!

2. The Death March Revival is a minimally supported event taking place on gravel roads that we have no control over. The route WILL NOT BE MARKED. It is your responsibility to research the route before you ride it and prepare accordingly.
It is the sole responsibility of each racer to successfully navigate and safely complete the entire route via bicycle.
It is up to the racer to carry all supplies, food, and water that is necessary to complete the route. There will only be one checkpoint at the intersection of F.R. 45 and F.R. 221. It will be stocked with water. It is the riders responsibility to carry everything they need to complete the route including a water filter. Do not depend solely on this check in/aid station. If the DMR sweep vehicle needs to help you in any way outside the checkpoint (that includes water, food etc.) you will be considered a DNF.

Don't expect to get a big hug and a cookie handed to you. This is a bare bones check in. After all, you are doing the Death March!
Each participant is considered to be on a private excursion and remains solely responsible for any accidents in which he or she may be involved. No responsibility can be accepted for participants becoming lost, stranded, injured...or worse.

3. Participants will be responsible for learning the route. This event is meant for experienced riders who are self sufficient and proficient at GPS and MAP reading skills. You will be sent a GPX file after registering for the event. This will be the tool for you to work from. Do not rely on people or perceived markings along the course to navigate.

4. All participants must check in at the checkpoint/aid station at the intersection of F.R 45 and F.R. 221.

5. Participants may not advance along the route by any means other then bicycle or by foot. No sneaky stuff. I will be watching....

6. The primary route must be followed at all times. No short cuts or alternate routes are permitted. The course may be altered by the promotors in the event of inclement weather or other unforeseeable circumstance. Should this occur, participants will be sufficiently notified.

7. If you exit the course for food, water, supplies, or any other reason, you must re-enter the course at the same spot at which you left. If you get lost, you must backtrack to the point you left the course.

8. You MUST have lights.

9. Participants must wear a properly approved helmet while operating their bicycle.

10. Participants must obey all the city, county, and state laws, and "rules of the road".

11. You are completely on your own. Use your head. Watch for and yield to traffic. All roads are open to public traffic.

12. Challenges to event results must come from a registered participant, must be made either in-person, or via email to chilhoweeoutdoorsllc@gmail.com, and must be received no later than November 18th, 2018 at 5:00pm
